I first made contact with Mark via phone after reading his article in Bowhunter Magazine. We talked and I felt good about him speaking at our Church's 8th Wild Game Dinner. Mark did an excellent job of speaking and tying the message of Christ in with the aspects of hunting (how our preparation of hunting and our preparation of eternal life go hand in hand) I can truly say if you have Mark speak at your gatherings you will be satisfied.

Mark Ledford grew up in a suburb of Cleveland and didn’t begin hunting until the age of 23. Since that time, Mark has harvested over 75 deer with his compound bow including four Ohio bucks over 145” the last four years. Included in those four bucks is a 26 point non-typical and a double drop tine buck. Although an avid bow hunter, Mark’s love of hunting is not limited to bow hunting or deer. He has also harvested many wild hogs and turkey and has even shot an alligator and black bear. Mark’s hunting adventures have been covered in local and state newspapers as well as being featured in the October 2014 issue of Bowhunter magazine. Mark, a pastor in the same church for 28 years, is most passionate about his relationship with the Lord and his family. He has been married to his wife Jill for 28 years. They have four children, Kauri, Caleb, Connor and Camden.
